Four small mounds are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (p1) and were digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme. The date and function of these features are uncertain but they may be upcast from small-scale quarrying. The features lie within an area classed as C18th and C19th post-medieval enclosures in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
