The remains of a field system are visible as a series of low earth banks on aerial photographs (p1) and were digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme. Overlying the boundaries are traces of cultivation marks, similar to straight, narrow ridge and furrow, visible as slight ridges. These are likely to be post medieval, possibly 20th century, in origin. The features lie within an area classed as rough ground in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
