Summary
Mesolithic maceheadvis=22/10/1953(os) found by mr. Skinner about 1948, now in possession of mr. Ridge, high st, barnstaple. Half a macehead with hourglass perforation found near bratton fleming, classified by exeter museum as mesolithic. Of hard sandstone broken through centre, badly fitted probably ground. Found in upcast from rabbit-hole. Area under pasture and no further finds. Length 76m, width 51mm, thickness 38mm.
