A curvilinear univallate enclosure, 44m in diameter, is visible as a low, horseshoe-shaped bank on aerial photographs (p1) and was digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme. The date and function of this feature are uncertain but it is possibly prehistoric in origin. It lies within an area classed as rough ground in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
