A cropmark ditch of an enclosure is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1955, to the northwest of Ward Farm, St. Giles in the Wood. It has been interpreted as a possible post-medieval to 19th century tree enclosure ring.

Transcriptions of a circular ditch correspond to the grid reference for PRN167435.

A single ditch curvilinear enclosure roughly 17.5m in diameter is visible on aerial photographs (p1). The origin of this small enclosure is uncertain although its location within a designed landscape, the northern section of Stevenstone Park, suggests a function such as a tree ring. It has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
