An almost circular hollow roughly 73m in diameter is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (p1). Its origin is uncertain, although it is possible that it is the remains of a circular area of tree plantation since it lies on the edge of Deep Moor Plantation, now a landfill site. The feature has been plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
