A circular earthwork ring ditch with possible slight central mound is visible on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, on the steep west facing slopes of a scarp within Buckley Plantation, Sidmouth. It has been interpreted as a possible prehistoric barrow, or a post-medieval or 19th century tree enclosure ring.

Earthworks of a circular mound with outer ditch are visible.

Earthworks of a slight circular mound, circa 20m diameter, with outer ditch, circa 1.5m wide, are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2016. It is interpreted as a possible Bronze Age barrow or post-medieval or 19th century tree enclosure ring.
