Barrow Number BF 6. One of group of five barrows.

Visited on 25th November 1953. Barrow A with diameter 8.2 metres and height 0.4 metres with a ditch 2.5 metres wide by 0.1 metres deep. The barrow and field are heavily scattered with stones.
When visited in 1973 the barrow was turf covered with a diameter of 10.0 metres and height 0.5 metres with no remains of the ditch.

A group of four Bronze Age grass-covered barrows is visible situated on high ground south of Cape of Good Hope Farm, Bratton Fleming. All measure approximately 10 metres in diameter and up to 0.5 metres high. One is thought to have been excavated and a cremation and burial goods recovered. Other details: Number 34485.
