A linear feature is visible as a single bank on aerial photographs (p1). The feature is on the same alignment as existing field boundaries marked on modern OS 1:10,000 maps. It is sited within an area described as ‘Medieval strip-enclosures’ in Devon’s Historic Landscape Characterisation, and is likely to be a field boundary of medieval or later origin. It has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
