Grinsell (1970) states that this is now in exeter museum (grinsell).

Vis=26/11/1953(os) found by mr. Barrow whilst hoeing forty years ago near the angle of the hedge. Axe thought to have been handed in to some museum but not in ilfracombe, barnstaple, nor exeter museums. Field now under grass and no surface finds.
