A complex of linear features running N-S and E-W are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (p1). The features include single ditches, parallel ditches and parallel banks and ditches. They are sited within an area described as ‘Medieval enclosures’ in Devon’s Historic Landscape Characterisation, and are likely to be field boundaries of medieval or later origin. They have been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
