A subcircular banked enclosure, 29m across, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (p1-2) and was digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme. The feature lies on a hilltop and is possibly the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. It is are sited within an area described as medieval enclosures based on strip fields in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
