A post medieval drain is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (p1), it is partially marked on the OS 1st Edition 1:2500 scale map. The feature is cut by and therefore predates the railway. It was digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme and is sited within an area described as old watermeadow in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
