Fragments of a banked field system of medieval or later date are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (p1-2). The field banks are sited within an area described as medieval enclosures based on strip fields in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon and were digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme.
