A subcircular banked enclosure, 55m across, is visible as faint cropmarks on aerial photographs (p1). The site lies on the crest of a ridge and is considered likely to be of later prehistoric origin. It was digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme and is sited within an area described as medieval enclosures based on strip fields in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
