Young, A. & Turner, S., 2005-2006, North Devon/Winkleigh Biomass Plant National Mapping Programme (NMP) project database records, 167693 (Interpretation). SDV358473.

The remains of a rectilinear enclosure consisting of an external ditch and internal bank are visible on aerial photographs (p1). The enclosure is 60m long and at least 40m wide; it is cut along its east edge by a modern field boundary. It has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.

Young, A. & Turner, S., 2005-2006, North Devon/Winkleigh Biomass Plant National Mapping Programme (NMP) project database records, PRN167694 (Interpretation). SDV358473.

A rectilinear single ditched enclosure is visible on aerial photographs (p1). It is 24m wide and at least 19m long; it is cut along its west edge by a modern field boundary and its full extent is unclear. The enclosure has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.

Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2017-2018, Backlog recording of the Winkleigh National Mapping Programme Survey (Personal Comment). SDV360588.

The cropmarks of this possible enclosure were originally recorded by Young & Turner as two separate monuments (PRN167693 & PRN167694). It seems probable that the cropmarks represent part of the same feature and so have instead been recorded as a single monument.
The photograph reference for both of these records is:
1. RAF CPE/UK 2521 4040-3 22-MAR-1948
