Summary

Two cropmark ditches which possibly form the southwest corner of an enclosure of potential medieval date are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947, to the northeast of Chittlehamholt, Satterleigh and Warkleigh.

Two linear features are visible as parallel ditches on aerial photographs (p1). They run for 40m E-W then turn to run 75m S-N. The size and shape of the features would suggest that they are the remains of a double-ditched enclosure of uncertain origin. The site has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
