A straight, linear feature is visible as a single ditch on aerial photographs (p1). It runs from a footbridge across the River Mole, to meet an extant field hedge. It is possible that the feature is a ploughed-out length of field boundary; it is on the same alignment as an extant boundary 160m to its east. However, since its runs directly from a footbridge that is marked on maps from 1880 onwards, it is likely to be the remains of a footpath or track. It has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
