A linear feature is visible as a single bank on aerial photographs (p1). The feature is on the same alignment as surrounding extant field boundaries, and is sited within an area described as ‘Medieval enclosures based on strip fields’ in Devon’s Historic Landscape Characterisation. It is likely to be a field boundary of medieval or later origin. The feature has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
