A small (roughly 27m x 14m) amorphous hollow feature is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs (p1). It lies adjacent with an extant field boundary. The feature is likely to be the remains of a small quarry. It is not however marked on modern or historic mapping available to the National Mapping Programme. The feature has been digitally plotted as part of the NMP.
