Two small areas of extant ridge and furrow are visible on aerial photographs (p1) in fields immediately to the north-west of East Nymph. These features are probably associated with post medieval tree plantation and were digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme. The features are sited within an area described as medieval enclosures based on strip fields in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
