Post medieval ridge and furrow at North Wyke. Trees, possibly an orchard, are marked on the OS 1st Edition 1:2500 scale map. The site is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (p1) and was digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme. The features are sited within an area described as C15th to C18th ‘Barton’ fields in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
