Summary

An irregularly shaped cropmark pit of uncertain, but potential Roman date, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1984, to the southeast of Newland Cross, North Tawton.

An amorphous pit or hollow of uncertain origin is visible on aerial photos (p1). It is roughly 16m x 13m. The feature has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
