Parallel curved linear features of uncertain date are visible on aerial photos (p1) along the SW edge of a hill between Nichols Nymett and Sandford Barton. The features appear as single ditches, that follow the contours of the hill. It is possible that they are lynchets formed as a result of agricultural activity on the slopes of the hill. They have been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
