Transcriptions of linear ditches correspond to the grid reference for PRN166987.

The remains of a linear feature are visible as two lengths of ditch on aerial photos (p1). The ditch appears to be broken by a later field boundary also visible as a cropmark (prn 166986). It is sited within an area described as ‘Barton’ fields for Devon’s Historic Landscape Characterisation, and it is possible that it is a field boundary of medieval or earlier date. The feature has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
