An oval banked enclosure, 52m by 32m across, is visible as faint cropmarks on aerial photographs (p1) and was digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme. The feature is of uncertain origin, and whilst morphologically it would appear to be of prehistoric date, a modern agricultural origin cannot be ruled out.
