Curvilinear cropmark ditches have been identified in this location.

The remains of an extensive field system are visible as a series of cropmark ditches on aerial photographs(p1&2) and were digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme. The fields are mixed in form, some are rectangular whilst others are curvilinear and irregular in shape. They fit into the present day field pattern and are likely to be medieval, possibly later, in origin.
