Transcriptions of two linear banks correspond to the grid reference for PRN166762.

Two parallel field banks are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (p1) to the south-west of Burrowplot Cross. They appear to be cut by the lane running toward South Moor Cross and are therefore considered likely to be of medieval (or earlier?) origin. They were digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme. The features are sited within an area described as medieval enclosures based on strip fields in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
