A socket stone lies beside the south porch of the church. A granite socket stone square at the base and octagonal above, hollowed out to form a shallow trough. The socket stone formerly stood in a nearby garden doing duty as a bird bath.
Socket stone 0.73 by 0.73 metres by 0.30 metres high. Inside 0.61 by 0.55 metres by 0.17 metres deep.
