Summary

An earthwork bank flanked along its northern side by a ditch are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1986, to the southeast of Yellands Farm, Wembworthy. They are interpreted as a former medieval or post-medieval field boundary.

Field boundary of medieval or later date, visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (p1) and plotted during the Cornwall NMP. The site was digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme. The features are sited within an area described as medieval enclosures based on strip fields in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
