A linear ditch, 90m long, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (p1) running east-ward from Pigsmoor Wood toward the River Taw. It is considered likely to be a track or pathway of medieval or later origin and was digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme. The features are sited within an area described as C18th and C19th post-medieval enclosures in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
