Southcott Farm SS757056
An ancient cross shaft lies in a small orchard north of Southcott Farmhouse, Morchard Bishop. A granite shaft of octagonal section, tapering upwards with spurred stops and a tenon at its base. It is unknown where this cross shaft came from.
Cross shaft length 1.07 metres, base 0.25 by 0.25 metres, top 0.22 by 0.22 metres. Tenon 0.22 by 0.20 metres by 0.11 metres high.
