Fragments of a post medieval field system or water meadow are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (p1) to the south of Lower Bransgrove. The parallel ditched features were digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme. The features are partially sited within an area described as medieval enclosures based on strip fields in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
