Transcriptions of ditches and a bank correspond to the grid reference for PRN167319.

Two linear ditches lies to the south of Homeland Bridge on the eastern bank of the River Taw. The ditches lie on the same alignment as each other to either side of the railway, they are therefore considered likely to be one single ditched feature, predating the construction of the railway embankment. The features, which were digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme, are considered likely to be a field boundary or drainage ditch of medieval or later date. The features are sited within an area described as C18th and C19th post-medieval enclosures in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
