A wide linear ditched feature is visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs (p1) and was digitally plotted during the National Mapping Programme. It is possibly a drainage feature of medieval or later origin, however a natural origin cannot be ruled out. The feature is sited within an area described as medieval enclosures based on strip fields in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
