Fox, A., 1952, Roman objects from Cadbury Castle, 111 (Article in Serial). SDV340586.

Cadbury Castle objects of bronze, glass, shale. Find Number 13: bronze ring, rectangular section, with overlapping ends which have sprung apart, probably a finger ring. Find Number 14: bronze ring, rounded section and finely pointed ends, probably an ear-ring. Find Number15 : lead strip, flat on the back, decorated with fine wavy lines in a sunk oval and at the margin. Probably was inserted in a frame or binding and may have been part of a pendant, or decoration of an inlaid box. Metal tested by Alan Stuart of Exeter University. Find Number 16: bronze rod, pointed by slicing, for use perhaps as a stylus or for a pricker. Another smaller one found also in the well. Find Number 17: bronze finger ring, with bevelled shoulders expanding towards the bezel, which has an oval green-blue glass intaglio with a raised rectangular design. All dating to the 3rd or 4th century. Other details: Figure 3.
