A Post Medieval water meadow, known locally as a Catch Meadow Irrigation System, is visible as earthworks, on aerial photographs. At least four roughly parallel field gutters or drains, measuring up to 70m long, extend along the contour, of a slope to the south of Hone Farm. They are centred at
SS 9941 2591. These remains have been overlain with many modern paths.
The exact aerial photograph used for transcription is not specified, but this reference is given:
RAF 540/860 3162 02-SEP-1952
