The remains of a possible Post Medieval water meadow, known locally as a Catch Meadow Irrigation System, are visible as earthworks, on aerial photographs. Six of roughly parallel field gutters or drains, measuring up to 200m long, extend along the contour of a slope to the east of Timewell farm. They are centred at SS 9643 2577.
