Winton, H. & Dyer, C., 1998, The Brendon Hills Mapping Project Devon and Somerset (National Mapping Project), 1133966 (Interpretation). SDV360961.

The fragmentary remains of a Post Medieval water meadow, known locally as a Catch Meadow Irrigation System, are visible as earthworks, on aerial photographs, to the east and west of the
road up Timewell Hill. Two roughly parallel field gutters or drains are centred at SS 9610 2600 and a further two are centred at SS 9618 2598. A single drain is centred at SS 9621 2590.
The exact aerial photograph used for transcription is not specified, but these references are given:
