A Post Medieval water meadow, known locally as a Catch Meadow Irrigation System, is visible as earthworks, on aerial photographs. Two concentrations of roughly parallel field gutters or drains extend along the contour , on the slopes of a valley to the south of Withywine Farm. They are centred at SS 9600 2687 and SS 9600 2670.
The exact aerial photograph used for transcription is not specified, but this reference is given:RAF 543/2821 (F65) 277-8 27-APR-1964
