Recorded as Barn, Lane and Court on the Cheriton Fitzpaine Tithe Apportionment (plot 1344).

Farmstead named as Ley's Dairy, comprising a long rectantular building (as shown on the Tithe Map) on the east side of a yard with smaller buildings on the north and west sides.
