A linear earthwork bank interpreted as a former medieval field boundary is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1948 and on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, to the west of High Beara Barn, Staverton. The southern extent of the earthwork corresponds with a field boundary shown in this approximate location on the 1845 Parish Tithe Map, although the northern extent is not shown and so had evidently passed out of use by this time. The Ordnance Survey 2018 MasterMap shows that the southern element of this historic boundary has also since been removed.
