The earthworks partly correspond with field boundaries shown on this map.

Earthwork ditches, approximately 10m in width and interpreted as former medieval field boundaries are visible on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, at Landscove, Staverton. The earthworks are northeast to southwest and northwest to southeast aligned and partly correspond with the remains of a medieval strip field system shown in this location on the 1845 Parish Tithe map. A number of the earthworks do not, however, correspond with field boundaries on this map and had evidently passed out of use by this time.
