Cropmarks of levelled ditches are visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 1999, on gentle east facing slope, to the northeast of Landscove House, Staverton. The well-defined L-shape and linear ditch possibly define the eastern half of a rectilinear enclosure, which are separated by a 5m wide gap interpreted as an entranceway. Its form and proximity to other enclosures identified in this area would suggest a possible late prehistoric or Romano-British date. The cropmarks are not visible on other aerial imagery made available to the survey.
