Cropmarks of a linear or curvilinear ditch of unknown date and function is visible on aerial photographs of 1985 on the south-east facing slopes west of New House Farm, Mamhead. The ditch is visible as two cropmarks perpendicular to the contours of the slope, circa 1 to 2 metres wide, 40 and 8 metres long.
