The visible earthwork does not correspond with any boundary depicted on the Tithe map for Kenton.

A bank is visible on Kenton Common as an earthwork circa 145 metres long and up to 17 metres wide on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017.
It does not correspond with any boundaries depicted on the 19th century maps available to the survey but is in keeping with the character of the surrounding historic field pattern as depicted on the Tithe Map for Kenton. The plot is part of a wider plantation on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map of the 1880s. The bank is interpreted as a field boundary potentially of medieval origin that was absorbed into a wider plantation between the 1840s and 1880s.The bank remains obscured by tree cover on digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2016.
