Part of the cropmarks correspond with a field boundary on this map.

Cropmarks of a levelled ditch interpreted as a relict field boundary of potential medieval date are visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2016, to the east of Bulland Farm, Staverton. The sinuous dark cropmarks, circa 10m in width, partly correspond with a field boundary shown on the 1845 Parish Tithe Map, although had evidently largely passed out of use by this time. Additional cropmarks visible in 2016 to the southeast which form part of the same boundary but which are shown on the Tithe Map were not transcribed.
