Summary

No longer extant; now replaced with a modern mid-late 20th century barn. Originally shown on the Tithe Map as a single rectangular building on the south-western side of the yard, by the later 19th century, it had been extended to a longer range of buildings, with four subdivisions.

Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments (Cartographic). SDV359954.

A small, rectangular building (aligned roughly east-west) is shown on the Tithe Map for Moor, bordering the south side of the yard.

The later 19th century historic map shows the building shown on the Tithe Map has been extended to a long narrow range of farm buildings; four subdivisions are shown.

Farmstead included in survey. Visited during December 1991.
Extract from Ordnance Survey mapping used in survey still shows the old rectangular range of farm buildings at the south-western side of the yard, although the photographs show the large barn type structure that has replaced this range is in existence at this time.

The modern mapping shows the large replacement barn, which was built some time after the 1940s aerial photograph was taken (on which you can still see the older buildings), and before the survey took place in 1991.
