Curvilinear cropmarks of ditches are visible on aerial photographs of 1989, on the north-west facing slopes north of Helwell Barton, Kenton. The cropmarks are interpreted as possible evidence of several contiguous ditch-defined enclosure of later prehistoric date, comprising an overall enclosed area up to circa 40 metres across.
