The visible cropmark does not correspond with any depicted boundary.

Two parallel ditches less than 1m wide and less than 2m apart are visible on aerial photographs of 1984 as cropmarks circa 90m long, crossing the contours of the east-facing slopes north of Higher Thornton Farm, Kenn. The cropmarks are interpreted as evidence of a former ditched field boundary of possible medieval origin. They do not correspond with any boundary depicted on the Tithe Map for Kenn and the boundary was therefore probably removed prior to the mid-19th century.
